THERE WERE ONLY THREE DAYS IN JULY 1998 WHEN ALL MEMBERS OF THE BIG 5 WERE NOT SEEN
LEOPARDS, BUFFALO AND ELEPHANTS WERE SEEN ON EVERY DAY OF THE MONTH
THERE WAS ONLY ONE DAY WHEN LIONS WERE NOT ENCOUNTERED
RHINOS WERE SEEN ON ALL BUT TWO DAYS
* LH = LARGE HERD OF BUFFALO c. 500 ANIMALS
**SH = SMALL HERD OF BUFFALO c. 60 ANIMALS
***H = HERD - APPROXIMATELY 200 ANIMALS
$ herd: female elephants, youngsters & associated males c. 5-40+ animals
